Our TIMELESS | silver wool cloth at 225 g/m (150 g/m2) is yarn-dyed and is manufactured specifically for our robes from high-grade, extremely fine Merino worsted woolen yarn according to customer request. In order to meet the highest requirements, this yarn has conditioned crease-resistant and extremely hard-wearing characteristics. It can be described as extremely light, fine, luxurious, and soft to the touch, and it also falls elegantly. Merino virgin wool is the highest grade new sheep’s wool with its very own completely natural thermo-regulatory characteristics, absorbing much humidity and releasing it to the ambient air without feeling damp. This quality attribute of Merino wool is shaped and promoted by the hair type and the formation of the coat. The classification results predominantly from the refinement of the wool. |

320 g/m (approx. 215 g/m2) in cashmere offers 40 designs in addition to the luxurious black robe material. Cashmere is one of the most sumptuous and elegant materials among wool products, and originates from the extremely fine, soft underhair or downy hair of the cashmere goat. The precious fair fiber is obtained during the natural molting that occurs in spring and lasts for several weeks. Cashmere climatizes excellently against heat and cold, is breathable, has a silky shimmer, and is soft to the touch and as light as a feather. |
The color palette of these fabrics focuses on conservative gray and blue shades. |

The textile consists of 77 % Merino wool, 23 % silk – TIMELESS | gold silk at 240 g/m (160 g/m2), is yarn-dyed, and woven from superfine Merino worsted woolen yarn and stylish spun silk customized especially for our robes. Silk is probably the most precious natural textile product in existence. It is a continuous filament textile which is obtained from the cocoons of the silkworm. The finest silk – also known as pure silk – is obtained from mulberry silkworms reared in captivity, and originally came from China, where the Chinese emperor Fu Xi is said to have used this luxurious fabric to make robes around 5000 years ago. |
Additional advantages of silk: • Silk consists of a protein, and is a natural fiber which is highly cohesive. • It absorbs natural body fluids and guarantees a cool, pleasant temperature in warm climates. • Based on its prime structure, silk material has a natural shine which refracts the light, and creates a unique, facetted, rich shimmer. • Silk does not conduct static charge. • The material is breathable and is therefore especially pleasant on the skin. According to ancient customs, silk was more precious than gold. This noble material, which was at first only created in China, was highly desirable in other countries. It was not until the Silk Road was opened, a network of trade routes connecting East, South, and West Asia with Europe, that China’s lucrative silk trade with its extensive financial potential became possible. Silk continues to be one of the most expensive and most exclusive fibers in the world, and the demand for it is at least as great as it was in ancient times. |

The Masterpiece Gold Collection is woven from super 180 worsted yarn at 220 g/m (approx. 145 g/m2), 14.5 microns, and 140/2 according to the metric system. Evolution and selective breeding over the years have specifically resulted in Merino sheep delivering fleece with ultrafine wool. The wool can be processed to achieve the finest yarns with only slightly protruding fibers by selecting high-quality fibers which are longer than average. |
The extremely lithe and wavy Merino wool fibers have a strong, natural elasticity with high performance qualities. Merino woolen yarns absorb colors more easily, which leads to a more uniform color level, giving the fabric a touch of elegance and class. The Masterpiece Gold Collection is ideal for robes and suits for our discerning customers. |

For millennia, the blue sapphire has been regarded as a wonderful gem, the “stone of fate”. The rare beauty of the sapphire made it a popular talisman amongst royalty, who wore this gem to protect themselves against alleged catastrophes. According to an old Persian legend, Mother Earth rests on a gigantic blue sapphire and heaven reflects the exquisite blue crystal. In this legend the gem is praised, and is one of the highly esteemed jewels on the emperor’s crown. The blue of the sapphire is polarized by viewing it in the light from different angles. A mere touch of sapphire dust lends an incomparable opulence to the cloth. The wool for this collection comes from the region of Marlborough, New Zealand, and every fleece can be traced back to the farm and herd it originated from. Marlborough, northeast of South Island, is famous for its mysterious mountains, moderate climate, lush vegetation, and the picturesque Marlborough Strait. Landslides and flooded valleys have created a region which is distinguished by its impressive natural beauty. The breathtaking shades of blue of the water and the sky of the Marlborough Strait are an epitome of the old Persian legend. The surrounding alpine mountains lend protection and the ideal weather conditions create the perfect environment for the noble Merino sheep of New Zealand. The wonderful fineness and beautiful drape of the cloth are ideal for elegant and sumptuous robes. |

SUMMIT is an ultrafine cloth with an average weight of 280 g/m (approx. 190 g/m2) and can be worn year round. SUMMIT is woven from extremely fine fibers of fewer than 12 microns. The thread of this yarn is uniform in length, so that the cloth is deserving of the best possible accoutrements. The extraordinary result is a fabric which owns its fineness to Australian wool, which offers an incomparable shimmer and comfort due to its natural texture. |
The cloth has a full, elegant fineness, and the drape is particularly smooth. At the end of the production process, SUMMIT is also traditionally steamed with a paper press, additionally enhancing its comfort. This ensures that the cloth falls beautifully and that it is subsequently easy to work. SUMMIT consists of 100 % wool, but is so fine that it can easily be compared to cashmere. To maintain its natural characteristics, the conscious decision was made not to mix the wool with other luxury fibers. A robe or custom-made suit made of this cloth conveys an incomparable sense of comfort and elegance in the truest sense of the word. This unusually luxurious cloth is distinguished by its high durability, an impressive shimmer, and natural comfort. |
